Ukrainian ↔ English: Both Directions Covered

Certified translation runs both ways from this page. Ukrainian civil-status documents (свідоцтво про народження, свідоцтво про шлюб, свідоцтво про розлучення, свідоцтво про смерть) render into English for ISD, the Passport Office, Irish courts, the HSE, the Department of Social Protection and Irish universities. Irish-issued documents render into Ukrainian for DRACS civil-registry filings in Ukraine, Ukrainian court proceedings, Ukrainian employers, and Ukrainian citizenship or dual-citizenship files. The Statement of Accuracy is issued in Ukrainian when the receiving authority in Ukraine requires it, and in English by default.

Diia e-Documents and RAGS/DRACS Extracts

Ukrainian civil-status documents come in three shapes: legacy paper RAGS (post-Soviet civil registry) extracts, modern DRACS (Державний реєстр актів цивільного стану) prints on secure paper, and Diia e-documents issued as PDFs with a state-registry QR code. All three are certified without extra cost. The QR reference on Diia documents is preserved verbatim in the translation so an ISD caseworker can re-verify against the Ukrainian state registry if required. Older RAGS books, hand-written margin notes and reissue stamps are annotated in the target text so nothing is silently dropped.

Temporary Protection, IRP and PPSN: Which Documents to Order First

For Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BoTP), the standard document chain is: Ukrainian passport (or internal-passport ID) for BoTP eligibility at a Registration Centre, then birth or marriage certificates for family-linkage evidence, then education or professional documents for employment or QQI qualification recognition. Translations delivered in the order caseworkers need them speeds up PPSN issuance, Department of Social Protection payments and IRP scheduling at Burgh Quay. Turnaround by Document Length

Standard 24-hour delivery covers documents of one to three pages.
