Apostille FAQ
Do I need translation AND apostille?
If your document is in a foreign language, you'll need both translation and apostille. The translation is apostilled, not the original document. For English documents going abroad, you may only need apostille.
How long does the apostille process take?
Standard service takes 7-10 business days, rush service 3-5 days, and emergency same-day service is available for critical situations.
Which documents can be apostilled?
Most official documents can be apostilled including birth certificates, marriage certificates, diplomas, business documents, and court records. The document must be issued or notarized in the US.
What if my destination country isn't listed?
Some countries are not Hague Convention members and require embassy legalization instead of apostille. Contact us to determine the correct authentication process for your destination.
Can you apostille documents from any state?
Yes, we work with authorities in all 50 states. Each state has its own apostille authority, and we coordinate with the appropriate office based on where your document was issued.
What happens if the apostille is rejected?
If your apostille is rejected by foreign authorities due to our error, we will redo the entire process at no charge. We guarantee acceptance when the document is properly executed.
